JAZZIE B VIDEO
On March 15th, 2023, Soul II Soul‘s JAZZIE B was live In Conversation for us at Shades Bar in Sydney. If you missed the event or want to relive his great stories, the video is now finally available on our YouTube channel (embedded below). During the hour-long talk Jazzie shared lots of history and insights ranging from politics to sound system design and the quest for perfect sound – it’s full of Jazzie’s wisdom and witticisms. And what a generous guy he turned out to be – after agreeing to play a few tunes following the interview, he instead DJ’d for over 2 and half hours, until we had to shut him down so the bar staff could go home!
