Released by our friends That’s Not An Edit, this limited edition split 7 inch features Paris Groovescooter‘s Afro-Caribbean production Bumpa2Bumpa… on one side and DJ Soup‘s hip hop production Front Row People on the other. For the Groovescooter side, imagine Grace Jones meeting Commodores vocalist Lionel Ritchie in Nigeria circa 1983 for some 808 Afro-boogie, slap-bass action. On the flip, seasoned funky hip hop producer DJ Soup holds a candle to vocalist Melanie, Hilltop Hoods and Lonnie Smith for a TNAE fave.
