Compiled by dearly departed good soul DJ Hi-Clive (Clive Smith) for Sydney’s internationally renowned and mouthwatering restaurant/bar Longrain (where many of us DJ’d in Sydney for years), the compilation is a snapshot of the future-jazz, broken-beat/house and funky electronic acts of the time (2002) as well as acts associate with groundbreaking Australian ‘dance music’ distributor/label, Creative Vibes. Included are tracks by Barrio Jazz Gang, K7! act Smith & Mighty, Frenchman Llorca (F-Comm), Koop & Minus 8 (both on Germany’s Compost label) and The Tarantulas along with locals Deepchild, Rick Robertson‘s EON and the Monastiraki Mix of Groovescooter tune Flokati Rug Nights, written and produced by Georgie and Paris.
