After selling out the first pressing, in just over a month, we’ve repressed this much-loved disco-tinged reinterpretation of Jean Carne‘s signature tune with new artwork/colour scheme and 3 bonus stickers. Commissioned by Groovescooter, Sydney Latin trio Oyobi knocked us out when they heeded our call to turn Don’t Let It Go To Your Head into a more dancefloor-ready/DJ-friendly track. Working with the amazing Australian singer Karen Lee Andrews, their cover version’s soaring, heartfelt vocals coupled with a B-side original that is equally motivating and further in tune with Oyobi’s tropical roots, percussionist/producer Vincent Sebastian, bassist Adam Ventoura and in-demand keyboardist Daniel Pliner prove again why they’re a band to watch. Both tracks have been mastered beautifully by William Bowden and pressed to vinyl. No Digital on this one.
